The Daughter's Rebirth

When I became a daughter of this earth

I adorned myself with my finest clothes and anointed myself with the holy oils of your land

I took from your fertile land, gifts of the wayward gods

And I planted in my marrow

Fallen prophecies, untarnished blessings, fervent songs and swollen stories

And in my womb

Came a rebirth

And in this rebirth

Was the renaissance of deity

And I became a goddess

One of war, protection and power

And in earnest want

I called my sisters

To sit in this merciless glory

To rule this fruitful earth
