I’ve had multiple tug of wars with my body.
Do I like it?
Do I not.
It’s a non-linear journey that’s likely to never end, in my opinion.
I’ve learnt to live in spite of and because of my body, I am who I am because of how my body carries me through this world.
Look at the way my lips shine.
Look at the way my stretch marks shine.
Look at how my cheeks shine.
Is that not the same as glisten?
Look at my unkempt eyebrows.
Look at my back fat rolls.
Look at the slope of my breasts.
This is my body, now and always.
